“It’s been close to 60 days since I was notified of a major safety issue recall that they do not have a repair for. I am terrified to drive my car on certain roads and therefore trapped so to speak in my town. How much time do they have to figure out the fix? They are not offering loaner cars or rentals, which is unacceptable.”

NHTSA complaint #11754217, filed 2026-08

“they have failed to come up with a fix for this and am concerned that I will be stuck somewhere on the side of the road, or could be passing someone if this happens and the car will lose power while I am passing someone. this recall needs a fix for this car. I checked with the dealer the week of 9-20-26 and Land Rover still does not have a fix which is completely unacceptable”

NHTSA complaint #11767649, filed 2026-09

“Vehichle completely shut off while driving in middle of road. All power was cut to vehicle, luckily I had foot on the break at the time at a stop light. Was dead in the intersection, required a tow to dealership. The dealer confirmed it was a DC/DC electrical failure that had my mild hybrid engine not working. Basically communication with the gas engine stopped and vehicle died after draining the battery.”

NHTSA complaint #11715094, filed 2026-02

“I bought this car in 2024 and after 3,000 miles it was unrepairable. The first incident, I was driving and the car started flashing and beeping, telling me to pull over and exit the vehicle immediately. I brought it to the dealership and after a few days they returned it and said it was a software update. The next day, while driving to work, the vehicle again started flashing lights and beeping and told me to Pull Over and Exit the Vehicle immediately. …”

NHTSA complaint #11745201, filed 2026-06

“1. On June 30, 2026, it suffered a total loss of electrical power at highway speed on I-85. 2. Land Rover Greenville, under the direction of JLR Technical Assistance, has made three unsuccessful attempts to repair the same defect. 3. The vehicle has now been out of service for more than 3 months. 4. The condition is consistent with the DC/DC converter defect JLR itself identified in Recalls 26V-248 and 26V-599 and in Special Service Message SSM76173.”
