Example complaints

Other or unknown: “The air conditioning suddenly stopped working and it was 107 outside. I took the Lexus TX to Lexus service and they said a pebble went through the condenser. I had leased the car brand new in June 2026 and right now it's October 2026. I drive mostly on residential streets. I don't actually know what pebble hit the condenser or when it happened, the air conditioning just stopped working October 8. Lexus said it could have been a slow leak or leaked out quickly and there's not way to know. …”

Electrical system: “03/15/26 Tried to start the car but it did not start. The display said Low Brake Power. This happened to brand new car. Called the Lexus 24/7 assistance, they jump start the car. Similar incident happened once again on 03/22/26. Called assistance they jump start the car again. The concern here is that it is happening to brand new car ran for only 2000-2400 miles. As the battery dies it becomes less safe to come out of car also.”

NHTSA complaint #11726225, filed 2026-03

Brakes: “The vehicle is a brand new Lexus TX. The primary issue involves a brake system malfunction. While driving, a “BRAKE” warning message appeared on the dashboard. At the same time, the brakes were actively applied, and this occurred multiple times in succession during the same driving event. At the time of the incident, we were not aware that the vehicle should not be driven when this warning appears and drove the vehicle home. After reviewing the owner’s manual, we learned that the vehicle should not be driven under these conditions. The vehicle was then towed to the dealership for inspection. …”
