“Took my car to an independent mechanic. Computer registers that there's something wrong with intake but, once removed it works fine. Checked EGR ventilation system works fine. Car still cuts out during acceleration. Idles very high he informed me that there's a problem with my computer electrical systems. I need some information pertaining to Mazda recall.”
NHTSA complaint #10872426, filed 2016-06, 143,000 miles“I am having issues with my engine light on and my car having problems with a loud noise coming from the engine as well as sometimes shaking while stop in a light for a while.”
NHTSA complaint #11043264, filed 2017-11, 8,000 miles“Complaint is with the readability of the instrument panel in my car in most daylight conditions. The speedometer, tachometer and odometer and all other dials are un-readable in most daylight situations, which is a safety hazard, as I do not know the speed of the car in most cases when driving during daylight.”
NHTSA complaint #10251419, filed 2008-12, 300 miles“This vehicle has caused me nothing but problems! I have had it for 3 years and it has been in the shop 4 times and this last time is the transmission at 70,000 miles! This is ridiculous...Mazda needs to clean up it's act. Customers should not have charges like this early on in the life of a vehicle. The vehicle is gorgeous but perhaps they should have spent a little more time putting it together as it doesn't matter for eye appealing it is when it doesn't run!”
NHTSA complaint #10440235, filed 2011-12, 70,000 miles“I got into a Mazda forum where many costumers are having problems with the air conditioning clutch failure (seized) loosing power steering while driving. Turbo failure, causing engine overheating. Timing belt failure. I can not find any recalls about these failures.”
