“I have had multiple problems with my vehicle, mainly with suspension and with the fuel system. I had them replace the fuel system in 3/13 and once again I am having problems with leakage in the fuel system.”

NHTSA complaint #10713553, filed 2015-04, 80,000 miles

“The vehicle involved was a 2007 mercedes benz E350. Premature wear on the inside corner of my tires. This was ultimately discovered on all four tires. This lead to belt separation on all tires and a lost of belting on the left front of the car that caused driver surprise that demanded a dramatic emergency stop. This exposed me to highway traffic and almost caused an accident while pulling over in a shocked and concerned state. These tires were recommended for my car by the retailer and met both the speed rating and performance required. …”

NHTSA complaint #10526037, filed 2013-07, 80,000 miles

“My vehicle was listing to the right side. I took the vehicle for repairs to a neighborhood garage who informed me that that it had a defect that needed to be corrected by the dealer. The dealer said it needed repair to the airbag, shocks & struts (costing me over $4000). After research I discovered there have been eight TSB's on this particular vehicle (in 2008, 2009 and 2010), all referencing defects to the structural integrity. This was a dangerous problem that could have resulted in an accident with injury to my family, myself and/or other innocent parties. …”

NHTSA complaint #10486754, filed 2012-12, 87,000 miles

“Vehicle was driven at highway 54, mo on cruise control at 70mph. Next to eldon exit, on a straight part of the highway, all of sudden the front driver side spring broke with a very loud bang. After investigation, the spring broke at the first lower winding (the end of plastic cover, where it starts the second winding). At the broken location and only at that location, surface rust (30-40mm long) could be seen. …”

NHTSA complaint #10610559, filed 2014-07, 99,327 miles

“The contact owns a 2007 Mercedes-Benz E350. When the vehicle was parked for any length of time, the rear passenger side was low and a too low emergency indicator illuminated. The vehicle was not taken to a mechanic and was not determined to be part included in NHTSA campaign number: 12v264000 (suspension). The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The approximate failure mileage was 82,000.”
