NHTSA complaint #10017503, filed 2003-04, 140,000 miles

“Nhtsa campaign id no. 96v253003 covered same issue for 1994-1996 manufactured vehicles. Identified vehicle came off the line in november 1993. Ford motor co. Has denied my request to cover repair charges of $312.42. The tail lamp socket assy (f6xy-13411-ab)was the identical replacement part utilized for the recall. I am filing a formal written complaint with ford motor co. It is my opinion that the recall announced in 1996 did not go back far enough.”
