“We purchased a brand new Nissan JUKE 2013, including a maintenance and service contract. Over the past 3 years the Nissan JUKE has refused to start dozens of times. We are petrified that it will stop running while we drive it. Often it will not even start with jumper cables. Despite having the JUKE in and out of the Nissan dealership shop over the last three years, Nissan has been completely unable to determine and fix the defect. Each time Nissan simply charges the battery, or replaces it. …”

“My Nissan JUKE 2013 is having electrical problems. I brought it to gerald Nissan in naperville, il and they told me the ipdm needed to be replaced for $1,100.00 and they still weren't sure it would fix the problem. The vehicle won't start sometimes, it stays while driving (very scary). It over heated once because a signal wasn't sent to the fan. I've noticed this is I big complaint issue with Nissan. Is there a recall on such a problem. I can't even drive the car the way it is because I never know what's going to happen next. Joe”

NHTSA complaint #11218141, filed 2019-06, 130,000 miles

“While parked in our driveway for more than 30 hrs, my 2013 JUKE burst into flames. The fire dept did not find any evidence of arson or tampering and there was no weather occurrence to explain why it became engulfed in flames. The fire started in the engine compartment at 12:40am. Nissan has said that they examined the car and their technical specialist found no evidence of a product problem, failure, or malfunction that may have caused or contributed to this incident . Nissan will not tell me why the car burned up, just they're not responsible. …”

NHTSA complaint #10763505, filed 2015-09, 7,387 miles

“1st incident, I was driving on a city street at approx 30 MPH, when I looked at the speedometer it registered 75 MPH. I slowed to a stop and the speedometer was at 40 MPH with the car stopped. I continued to my destination and the speed was showing my speed plus 40. I then shut the car off for approx. 10 minutes and the speedometer reset to 0. 2nd and 3rd incident, december 18, and 27 2015, I was on the highway traveling at approx. 70 MPH, I looked at the speedometer and it was at 120+ MPH, my initial reaction was to slow down causing the traffic behind me to slow down and swerve around me. …”
