“2 safety issues: (a) passenger side seatbelt functioned fine when we got out of the car and upon return, we were unable to pull the belt out to fasten. It was locked within its 'roll-up' area. (b) blind-spot warning lights, tire air warning lights and etc. As seen in uploaded photo stay on in the color of orange. Also the brake light stays on in red after car is started. These functions do not work as well. No air needed in tires: checked that. No issues with brakes: checked that. Taking car to shop friday.”
NHTSA complaint #10917374, filed 2016-10, 60,000 miles“I am the second owner of a 2013 Nissan Murano, purchased from my friend's estate in 2026. Recently, the drivers seat belt was found to be shredding in two places. I did a search for open recalls on seal belt fabrics but there are none. I do not know what to do about it. I have placed thin shipping tape over the rips and tears. It appears that something in the roll up mechanism is tearing the seat belt. Please help me. Thank you.”
