“Paint defect. Several large areas of paint chipping and flaking on doors and hood without any other physical damage corresponding. There are several large areas where the paint just falls off with the slightest touch,, it is definitely compromising the appearance of the vehicle as well as the stability of the underlying body allowing elements to reach the bare metal.”

The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired by an independent mechanic or the dealer. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The failure mileage was approximately 103,000.”
