After a few minutes, the warning message goes off; the collision warning system light goes off. This error continues to happen again almost every ten minutes after the initial error message for the duration of my car trip. …”

It is faulty, causing the emergency braking system to not work. Because it does not work, neither will using cruise control - a basic accessory for the past several decades! The ebs has been going off and on for quite some time and I figured I'd have it checked at the next maintenance appointment (1 week ago). They found it to be faulty and replaced a distance sensory unit. Within about 20 miles the ebs quit working again. …”
