“I got new transmission and dealership told me I had to pay for alternator battery and fuel pump and after I got my car back not to mention the dealership stole everything from my car and my car was as till the same and they said my warranty was up and I barely drov e it around and it broke down again”
NHTSA complaint #11390112, filed 2021-01, 35 miles“Sometimes my Pathfinder does not accelerate when I step on the gas pedal. It typically happens when I am trying to drive after a stop sign or a red light, but sometimes it will even happen when I'm turning into oncoming traffic and trying to accelerate, but nothing happens. It's intermittent, so it does not happen every time.”
NHTSA complaint #11221285, filed 2019-06, 65,000 miles“While driving on the freeway the accelerator would suddenly not respond becoming a life hazard to my family and myself and also other drivers behind my vehicle; the cruise control also stop operating when this occurs. Also the brake light would illuminate without the brake pedal being depressed and with the car being off.”
NHTSA complaint #11181152, filed 2019-02, 54,306 miles“I was traveling at approx 50 MPH with 4-5 car lengths between the vehicle in front of me. The vehicle in front on me hit his brakes at which time I hit my brakes. My brakes did not respond when I hit them so I released the brake peddle and hit the brakes again. When I made impact with the vehicle in front of me I was still traveling at approx 35-40 MPH.”
NHTSA complaint #10759113, filed 2015-08, 4,076 miles“My brake light would not go off. It caused my car to stall as I was driving, it eventually shut off and drained my battery. It was really scary. I took my car in for service at the Nissan dealership. They did a diagnostic test. As a result they replaced my switch assy. Stop lamp and relay. I was really upset to pay for a service that I did not cause. Especially when there was a recall out for the same model, make and of my car I did share with the Nissan customer service my issue.”
