“Brake lights stay on and vehicle has loss of power when trying to accelerate and the when brake lights go off it goes back to full power. This is a known issue with this model but it appears my VIN number isn't covered although it has the same issues as other 2013 Nissan pathfinders. I have less than 61000 miles on the vehical.”

NHTSA complaint #11258955, filed 2019-09, 65,000 miles

“My VIN number did not show in recall however over 80,000 vehicles had same problem I am having. The break light switch, electrical relay is sticking and caused break lights to be on when car is turned off and I am not in the car. Then when driving break lights come on and I am not pressing the breaks. Also the car would not go when should and I have to hit the gas paddle again to make it move. Scary getting on the freeway.”

NHTSA complaint #11166486, filed 2019-01, 162,000 miles

“When I attempt to drive the vehicle after a full stop, or when proceeding at a slow rate of speed, by applying pressure to the gas pedal, the car does not move. I have to lift my foot and reapply pressure to get the car to move forward. Nissan has changed the brake sensor, however, that made the problem worse.”

NHTSA complaint #10575428, filed 2014-03, 17,000 miles

“When I would park on a hill the parking brake would not hold the car and the car would roll backwards until the parking pawl was engaged so the transmission was holding the car on the hill. In an emergency situation the parking brake would not be able to stop the car. Took car to the dealer and parking brake was adjusted. Now, no problems holding the car on a hill. Nissan should have checked this before giving me the car.”

NHTSA complaint #10496172, filed 2013-02, 300 miles

“I have experienced an increased in brake, every time I hit slightly the gas pedal on my 2013 Nissan Pathfinder platinum..and I was driving around 15 to 20 miles/hour, I don't know why Nissan has put in the market a car with so many bugs.”

NHTSA complaint #10716923, filed 2015-05, 50,650 miles
