“I am writing to inform you of an intermittent brake failure/ un-commanded vehicle acceleration problem with the 2007 Nissan Pathfinder. On april 4, 2015 I brought my 2007 Nissan Pathfinder to the Nissan austin northtown dealership (austin, tx) for scheduled maintenance, which included servicing/replacement of my brakes, pads, and fluids. …”

NHTSA complaint #10706302, filed 2015-04, 83,000 miles

“When slowing to a light at a very low speed ( approx. 5 MPH), there was a grinding or rubbing sound. The ABS, vdc off and slip lights came on. According to the manual this means that there is one or more issues with the traction control and/or ABS brake system. I saw that there have been recalls on this for 2006 and 2008 models so I assume there is also an issue with 2007 ones.”

NHTSA complaint #10505143, filed 2013-03, 140,000 miles

“While braking from a speed of 5 MPH in a parking lot, the car continued forward 8-10 feet from where it should have stopped. Same symptom happened once before, in my driveway, about one year ago. Nissan dealer can find no cause other than a weak battery, and I don't believe that's the cause of my brake failure.”

NHTSA complaint #10257814, filed 2009-02, 21,650 miles

“At 33,392 miles, I went to have my brakes inspected at my local service shop due to a slight squeaking when in reverse. The outside surface of the rotors were smooth so I thought it was just brake dust build up. Upon inspection at the shop, the inside surface of both front rotors were badly rusted and the brake pad that presses against the inside surfaces were partially gouged. Both rotors could not be resurfaced due to the extensive rust and required replacement. …”

NHTSA complaint #10321470, filed 2010-03, 33,392 miles

“Takata recall my air bag lights continue to blink and do not go off brought in to dealer to get it check. The dealer states its not the sensor its its a circuit spiral cable decline. Nissan refuses to put my vehicle in the call back. I think its part of the takata air bag design and should be added to the call back.”
