“My fuel tank is warped so the fuel float sensor gets stuck mostly on empty so I cant tell how much fuel I have. Even after I fill the fuel tank it still tells me I am empty. Ocasionally if I hit a bump after fillling it will show the correct ammount of fuel. I am afraid I will run out of gas, stall and get into an accident. The year before mine and after mine was already recalled for this same problem.”

NHTSA complaint #10970665, filed 2017-04, 165,000 miles

“Dealership reported timing system is faulty, class action lawsuit has been filed in california and washington. Fuel gauge will not read correctly and I was informed that the recall does not include my specific vehicle however all problems and year/make match recalled vehicles.”

NHTSA complaint #10947023, filed 2017-01, 120,000 miles

“I have a 2007 Nissan Pathfinder that started making loud rumbling noises while driving. We replaced the radiator after the car over heated and a milky substance leaked. We've had the transmission flushed twice. We were told by a mechanic that the radiator liquid mixed into the transmission. I'm very disappointing to find that there are so many others with the same issue and that Nissan is doing nothing to help.”

NHTSA complaint #10716068, filed 2015-05, 98,000 miles

“(2007 Pathfinder) the fuel sending unit failed and the fuel gauge LED me to believe I had gas when in fact I was empty. I ran out of gas in a busy intersection and I was almost hit by a large dump truck. My 5 year old and my 4 month old were in the 2007 Pathfinder. Would if the dump truck driver was not paying attention, me and my children would definitely be dead.”

NHTSA complaint #10455650, filed 2012-04, 79,000 miles

“The service engine light appeared at about 50k miles. We determined it was a faulty fuel sensor. Nissan insisted on us paying for a diagnosis at their service center when we already knew what was wrong, then they charged me to have it installed. This was followed by a recall on 2007 pathfinders being recalled for fuel sensor but mine is excluded.”
