“I was in traffic on the freeway and 20mins into my drive the car accelerated no more than 40mph. I banked into an exit and parked car in a safe spot. The engine was on, but the car would not accelerate at any speed. There were no warning lights to alert me. I turned the car off and on but did not fix the problem - I eventually had the car towed after 40mins”

NHTSA complaint #11032289, filed 2017-10, 87,500 miles

“Took my 2014 Nissan Rogue to Nissan dealer, because the car was slipping and losing rpms. Dealer told me that the radiator had failed internally causing transmission issue. They are saying that I need to replace the radiator, hoses some other stuff and the transmission. They estimated it at this time at $6000. I was on my way to work 40 minutes from my house and had to have the car towed back to the dealership. The car only has 75,000 miles on it.”

NHTSA complaint #11197215, filed 2019-04, 75,000 miles

“While driving at 65 MPH in traffic on a bridge with no shoulder my rouge died. The engine shut off completely, my breaks locked up and were hard to push. This bridge is extremely dangerous and has fatal accidents on a regular basis. I have never felt so scared and helpless as I prayed the other cars could see that I was not moving. This is extremely dangerous and could have been fatal.”

NHTSA complaint #10716069, filed 2015-05, 22,400 miles

“I was driving two hours straight at around 65mph. Suddenly the vehicle lost RPM's. I tried to give more gas, but it would not go above 2000 rpms. This was very dangerous as people were passing me left and right at about 65mph and I couldn't go faster than 20. I couldn't get off to the side of the road. I pulled over. Turned off the Rogue, turned back on. Still had the issue. There were not warning lights. I let the car sit for about 30 mins. Suddenly it was working again. I drove it home. …”

NHTSA complaint #11330008, filed 2020-06, 98,000 miles

“I was driving on the interstate coming from indianapolis, indiana going 75 miles per hour. After three hours of driving, my car suddenly began decreasing it's speed and would not accelerate. The check engine light came on andi had to pull over to the side and turn off my car. I called for a tow truck using my insurance company., but after turning off the car for fifteen minutes, it was driveable again. The check engine light stayed on the entire ride home, and for about two weeks.”
