“Pulling out of a dollar general store was hit by a truck causing sever vehicle damage. Air bags and collision avoidance did not work. Engine did not shut down was still running after collision, no warning lights came on. I had to shut the car off. Could not move the car frame was broken. Called nissain a couple of times was told a rep would look at it but it could take up to 6 weeks never got a follow up call. Hit my head on the steering wheel.Have not contacted a lawyer as of yet”
NHTSA complaint #11610214, filed 2024-08“The Body Control Module System goes to sleep intermittently. Nissan reports that it is a manufacturer error but Nissan has 0 fixes or recommendations. They refuse to buy the car back. The BCM system is a safety hazard as my lights don't always come on and it is interconnected with other systems including the air bag system and safety restraint system. This is a huge concern to me as I don't want to have to worry if my restraints or air bags will work when needed. Also, I have had other issues related to infotainment system. …”
