“The monitor and camera system does not always come on. The gps doesn’t work and if you try to backup there is no indication someone is behind you because the cameras are inoperable. This is definitely a safety issue. I have taken the vehicle to 2 service centers and it is still not fixed. As a matter of fact the issue happened before we drove it off the lot and we were told there was nothing wrong with the system”

NHTSA complaint #11604978, filed 2024-07

“The Infotainment system goes black intermittently & frequently- When this occurs, there is no access to any cameras and if it occurs while backing out, the mirrors self-adjust down (for the camera?) and therefore, you are unable to even user your sideview mirrors. I have contacted Nissan Corporate-they deny any issues but the local dealership told me there is a software problem similar to the 2022 issue (recall) but there is no solution because this is a new problem with 2024.”

NHTSA complaint #11590429, filed 2024-05

“Reverse & Forward collision warning light flashing on the dash at different periods of time, temperature and speed of vehicle. Unknown if warning light is flashing if collision airbags will deploy if in accident. Reported to Four Star Nissan in Denton, TX, service tech advised no issue, could be because I drive on rural roads, when though my driving is all highway miles, showed the service techs the display, showed them pictures and videos of the warning light coming and going, and they said there is no error. …”

NHTSA complaint #11741286, filed 2026-06

“We had bought this vehicle from the dealership in March 2026, it had seemed like they were trying to get rid of it. Within under a month of purchase, it flashed a malfunction error and broke down. Sent to dealership, they had fixed the relay. Problem has since worsened. Car runs extremely rough and I get two malfunction errors. During long periods of driving with extensive starting and stopping, I notice issues such as a delay when shifting from park to drive. Im currently studying Automotive Technology where I got to diagnose the car. It is showing 11 codes. …”

NHTSA complaint #11762042, filed 2026-09

“The entire dashboard goes blank. No radio, no camera's no telepone connection etc.. 2024 Nissan Rogue SL. After driving a few miles the dashboard info center turns back on. This has happened at least 3 times. I was curious because 655K Camrys are being recalled for the same problem. Most likely the same software is used in both automobiles.”
