“Takata inflators/ seat belts??? A group of turkeys ran out in front of me on a gravel road had to hit my brakes hard the car slid into a curb due to gravel, air bag went off ( not that hard of a hit) the seat belts locked could not get them to release had to cut the seat belt to get out of it. All the seat belts are locked and will not release so you can not drive the car with no seat belts”
NHTSA complaint #11011275, filed 2017-07, 46,000 miles“We were driving and slide to side of road hit nothing and side airbags deployed the front airbags didn't deploy hit nothing and had to be repaired 6,000 damage but no wreck I don't understand why the repair shop checked for recalls but none. I don;t think my insurance company should pay for a defected airbag . We hit nothing and there was no damage to car at all.”
NHTSA complaint #10692844, filed 2015-03, 48,000 miles“I was driving to work and my airbag sensor started flashing. I took it to dealer and they told me it was the sensor that affects all the airbags in vehicle. They could fix it for $1200. I bought it used with 58,222 miles in2013. I have 72,050 miles now.”
NHTSA complaint #11004933, filed 2017-07, 72,050 miles“The driver side air bag light is blinking this could possibly be the module. I have looked in the internet and I have that the module is a problem on Nissan vehicles. The light is always blinking.”
NHTSA complaint #11206201, filed 2019-05, 62,300 miles“Vehicle in the shop for a major oil leak, 2 key fobs don't work, recall, leaking sunroof, and last but not least air bag light flashing. Quoted 3500 to replace seat/module, 350. For oil issue, 1400. Sunroof. I inherited this car in 2013 when my mother passed away and it only has 20000 miles on it. I could buy another newer used car at this rate!! This is rediculous for a vehicle with so low miles to have this many issues. At this rate I will never purchase or recommend Nissan again. Please advise. Thanks, deb”
