NHTSA complaint #10579195, filed 2014-04, 36,000 miles

“The vehicle anti-theft system was on. The consumer could not start the vehicle. The dealership repaired the problem once, but did not resolve the problem. This was an intermittent problem.”

NHTSA complaint #10094606, filed 2004-11, 67,700 miles

“I have a clunking noise in the steering column. I feel it while I drive and also while making turns. One mechanic said it was the tie rods, so I had them replaced another said the gear box. I still have this problem I think this is just a problem waiting to happen. Several mechanics have no idea what the problem is. I drive on the autobahn in germany so please let me know if my life is in danger.”

NHTSA complaint #10018768, filed 2003-05

“1999 Oldsmobile Intrigue. Consumer writes in regards to vehicle ignition key recall notice. The consumer stated the ignition module and crank sensor were replaced several times. A recent problem developed, where the consumer was unable to turn the vehicle off. There were other times, when the vehicle would not start. Also, while driving, the headlights would come on and then go out. When the cruise control was set, it would disengage by itself and air only blew out of the right double vent and the left double vent blew out hot air.”

NHTSA complaint #10668005, filed 2015-02

“The engine will die going down the road at any speed, which is a safty hazard. When engine dies... It is very hard too steer and looses braking power. The engine then may not restart for several min. Takes several attempps to get going again. If a person had to get to a hospital on time it could make the differance between life or death. We feel this should be fixed by GM...free...and soon!!! Thanks john & dawn”
