“When I turn on my car after 3 to 5 second it would turn off and when I am driving when it reaches about 15 to 25 the check engine light will turn on and car turns off and steering wheel dos not work and the brakes dos not work, but the electricity is still works , the stereo would still be on.”

NHTSA complaint #10525858, filed 2013-07, 165,355 miles

“The instrument panel started going off and on. When it would go off the ABS light would come on and then the engine service light would come on, during this time every thing went out. The speedometer, odometer, gas and temperature gauges went out. I would hit the dash and it would work correctly. I finally had to replace it and that one lasted about a year and a half. So know I have put another one in and at this time having problems getting it to function. I see a lot of complaints on the internet, but none on NHTSA website.”

NHTSA complaint #10267188, filed 2009-04, 145,000 miles

“When car is slowing to make a turn, the windshield wipers come on. The service engine light stays on. When a diagnostic test was performed, the code which came up indicated a problem did not exist. It was determined a short caused the windshield wipers and engine light to stay on. When the computer was reset, the light came back on in a matter of minutes. I do not think this problem is due to age of the car. Many of my friends who have these same autos have the same problem. To correct the problem will require an extensive search of the electrical wiring and is performed on an hourly rate. …”

NHTSA complaint #10010410, filed 2003-03, 65,000 miles

“Serpentine belt falls off all the time it pulls inward toward the engine slightly any when it gets just a little wet it slips off. The tensioner pulley looks like it needed to be cocked upward just the slightest little bit and then it don't move gates aftermarket product works perfect for all who use it chyrsler should be the ones paying to have this part replaced not us this is way to common of a problem .”

NHTSA complaint #10448357, filed 2012-02, 203,300 miles

“Air conditioning system: evaporator was replaced 3 times so far, first time being under 3 year warranty. Service engine light stays on all the time now, even after being diagnosed with no problems and being reset. Lately, the windows won't go up and down until the car is stopped and restarted. Same thing with the speedometer and the tachometer. They just go dead .”
