“On 11/13/01 I was involved in a crash. I was alone in my van, traveling between 30 and 35 MPH when another car pulled out in front of me on my passenger side about 20 feet ahead from behind a parked delivery truck. I applied the brakes and slowed down .”

“The air bag warning light comes on intermittently. According to the information given to me by a local chyrsler dealer, this problem is typically caused by a faulty clock spring, and the driver's side air bag will not deploy when the warning light is on. The clock spring was replaced once under warranty on june 6, 1997, at 7922 miles. My complaint at that time was a crunching sound that came from the area of the steering column, when the steering wheel was turned in either direction.”

NHTSA complaint #767724, filed 2002-09

“I have owned three differnt Plymouth mini-vans and have had the same problem with all of them . This dates back to the first one I owned in 1987. During the winter ,I have the occasion to drive through heavy snow and on three separte occasions ,I have had the belt come off the car as I was driving through snow drifts of one to two feet high . When this happens ,the power sreering on the car does not function and it becomes a saftey issue as far as trying to steer the car. …”
