“My vehicle has a panoramic sunroof that has 5 options (0-closed, 4 completely open). Periodically the sunroof would not close to the correct numbered option, but would go to the correct spot after another try. Now, it will not close past the second option. Now, my sunroof is stuck open and the replacement part is $1500! I don't want to pay that much money for a sunroof so my mechanic is going to try to shut it and disable the mechanism. All the used parts my mechanic tried looking into are reporting to have the same problem.”

NHTSA complaint #10410902, filed 2011-07, 46,000 miles

“As my son was driving around a corner about 35-40 MPH he felt the driver side tire drop down, lost control of the car. The tire shredded off of the hubcap and he flipped approximately 7 times.”

NHTSA complaint #11242447, filed 2019-08, 165,000 miles

“The problem hasn't been happening nearly as much in the cold temperatures. I'm experiencing the same issue that was supposed to be recalled. The power steering goes out while I'm driving. I can pull over, restart it and it usually goes away the first start (sometimes more restarts are necessary). The steering wheel also twitches or shakes while the car is just idle. I don't move it... just moves while in park. There was a recall for my car for this issue (power steering torque sensor I believe?) and I'm curious why my car is experiencing it now.”

NHTSA complaint #11456469, filed 2022-03

“Car has had numerous problems from not starting to having the brakes replaced every 3,000 miles. Dealer has been good about taking care of repairs and maintenance but I feel that this car has been nothing but a problem from the day I picked it up. I am at 27,000 miles and on at least my 9th set of brakes/rotors. It also has what I now refer to as the GM sputter start. If it does start it sometimes doesn't start on the first try and sometimes catches and sputters before it starts. Hate this car.”

NHTSA complaint #10188602, filed 2007-04

“The contact owns a 2005 Pontiac G6. The contact stated that while driving 55 MPH, the rear brake lights erroneously illuminated without the brakes being applied. The contact took the vehicle to the dealer for inspection where they stated that the brake pedal switch shorted internally and needed to be replaced. The vehicle was repaired. The manufacturer was notified. The failure mileage was 75,000. .... Updated 02-20-13 the consumer stated the cruise control would not engage and the traction control would randomly turn on. The vehicle was repaired. Updated 02/21/2013”
