“Takata recall, I have a 2007 Pontiac G6 base model. It has 110,756 miles and it breaking down badly. The gear shift, transmission and steering wheel control all started to mess up around the same time. My friends father had the same exact car a few years ago and said that they have a transmission problem and to call the dealership and/or the manufacturer to find a solution to my problem.”

After turning right and going towards another stop light, I braked and the car stopped. It was still running, but the accelerator wasn't working and when I put the car back into park then drive, nothing happened. After I turned my car on and off a few times, I was able to drive my car into a nearby parking lot, but the steering was hard to turn. …”

It does a hardshift and will do this at random times- no matter if I have driven 0 or 10 or 100 miles . Sometimes it will hardshift when I first leave in the morning and sometimes it doesnt. Sometimes it hardshifts mid day - but it is always after a complete stop. If I use the tap shift then it does not do this. …”
