“Entered my truck, to go to work. Shut the drivers side door, and the rear drivers side rear door window blew out. The truck was not even a month old. I live in a rural residential area, and nothing had hit it, touched it, etc. Temp in the 50's with rain. Covered under my insurance with no deductible, but even the glass company has said this is a manufacturers defect. Imperial dodge in mendon, ma ducking my phone calls. Chrysler., to there credit said they would check into it, (even though you know they won't). Point being, what if this had happened while I was driving? …”

“Vehicle windshield wipers malfunctioned and will not turn off, kills vehicle battery. Wipers do not function with fuse removed to prevent battery from draining, and windshield from being damaged, cannot safely drive vehicle in rain. Truck is now not safe to drive, cannot obtain inspection sticker, and Ram cannot provide a replacement part to fix the vehicle. Part has been on back order for 3 months and will not provide a rental. …”

NHTSA complaint #11130459, filed 2018-09, 22,101 miles

“The heater core in this model with the Cummins motor and of those around the same year plug constantly. I have to flush mine every couple of weeks in cold weather otherwise it will not keep moister off of the inside windows including the windshield as it just blows frigid air. A complete repair is $2,400+ and it will continue to plug even after the repair. It's common to need to frequently pull off of the highway and wipe down the inside glass to keep the windows clear.”

NHTSA complaint #11636002, filed 2025-01

The vehicle was taken to the dealer at: glenbrook dodge, ft. Wayne, in, where the technician diagnosed a def harness failure. The technician plugged new ends to the harness but the failure recurred. The vehicle was returned to the dealer but and was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure and stated that the part would not be available until august.
