“Vibration that starts at 68 to 73 MPH. Replaced all tires-had balanced 3 times-swapped wheels around. Still a vibration in the rear of truck.checked rear springs , drive shaft seem ok. This truck has had a vibration since I bought it, 4 years old with 112,000 miles I thought it was just the mix matched tires that were on the truck.”

NHTSA complaint #11120829, filed 2018-08, 112,000 miles

“The truck has 74,000 miles and the left front wheel bearing hub or unit bearing failed. Luckily, we noticed it made an odd noise after exiting off the interstate. If it had failed while we were at highway speed, we would have been involved in a major accident. There is no way to grease this part and no warning of when this failure could occur. Loss of steering and braking also occurs.”

NHTSA complaint #11139724, filed 2018-10, 74,000 miles

“I purchased the extended warranty for my 2014 Ram 35000 longhorn from don vance dodge in marshfield missouri in february 2016 when I bought the truck from them. Within 10,000 miles I noticed that the right front tire on the outer edge is wearing. I brought it to a local mechanic who raised the truck with a floor jack and checked the tire. He showed me how the tire would move back and forth and said that the upper ball joint was bad. I checked it also and it had a lot of play. I made an appointment with don vance dodge in marshfield missouri for the warranty work to be performed. …”

NHTSA complaint #10993909, filed 2017-06, 48,900 miles

“Tire pressure sensor stopped working on left front wheel. Error message to have sensor system serviced appears at startup. Failure occurred on secondary streets at beginning of trip, towing 5th wheel. Stopped and checked tire pressure to see if tire was failing. Pressure was normal. No PSI displayed on console for left front. Other sensors reporting normally.”

NHTSA complaint #11243422, filed 2019-08, 46,150 miles

“Vehicle is designed and constructed with non adjustable camber for the front wheels. This is causing uneven wear to the front tires, outside edge now bald while rest of tire tread is intact. The only known repair is using aftermarket parts and a proper alignment along with new tires costing the consumer $1000 and $1500 per vehicle.”
