“2 weeks ago my brand new Ram 3500 with only 15000 on board didn't start, it didn't start in the morning on parking lot. Called a mechanic to have it fixed but they were not able. Same day called roadside assistance for towing and Ram customer service. Results: -Ram roadside assistance didn't cover the cost to dealer: reason: too close to the dealer. -Ram customer service took all the information, gave me a case id and said somebody will call you in 1-2 days. …”

NHTSA complaint #11350683, filed 2020-08, 15,000 miles

“After replacing the EGR valve at 55,000 miles dealer went to reset service codes. Pcm was found to be at fault and unable to clear codes. Dealer claimed PCM was not under warranty. Ram customer care made no efforts to replace or repair PCM. Have had 9+ issues with the truck. All issues have fallen outside of warranty by 3 to 4 thousand miles.”

NHTSA complaint #11288060, filed 2019-12, 55,000 miles

“On my 2019 RAM 3500, I reported a problem with th eNHSTA back in 2023, and NO response yet. This is about the integrated brake controller, that provides NO electrical signal to stop the towed trailer at speeds what apear to be below 35MPH. This is a very dangerous failure on these trucks.”

NHTSA complaint #11767624, filed 2026-09

“When truck is in cruise control on with driver assist on, if I run off side of road and go over the ridges on the side that alert driver my ABS light comes on saying my driver assist and my cruise control can no longer be used and my ABS breaking system requires a mechanic. If I reset my system all goes back to normal till I go over rough road or ridges. I have less than 10,000 miles on truck. From what I hear from other Dodge owners this is a common occurrence. This has happened on three different occasions.”

NHTSA complaint #11524235, filed 2023-05

“All of my fuse are lose, also the dealership installed a new high pressure fuel pump under recall and now it’s whining and now my pcm is over charging my batteries!!!”
