2003: “I have had problems with my car for almost 2 months and it seems it never ends. Serious power steering problems which causes a lot of inconveniences for a single mother like me, taken to some shops, money wasted on nothing because it seems this is one of the weakest and worst problems a Suzuki Aerio 2003 could have. Checked on the internet and all of them have the same problem !”
NHTSA complaint #10372230, filed 2010-12, 61,000 miles2004: “My 2004 Suzuki Aerio sx's gas pedal will become trapped under the floormat if it's pressed to the floor. I've had this looked at by my dealer and I was told it was fixed. Nope, still does it. The problem is the retaining pin for the drivers floor mat is poorly made and doesn't keep the floormat in place allowing it to slide forward and jam the pedal down. Very exciting.”
NHTSA complaint #10293545, filed 2009-11, 20,000 miles2006: “Air bag light on dashboard stays on;when reported to dealership,I was advised that this indicates air bags would not deploy in case of an accident ;dealership(Suzuki courtesy in pittsburgh pa)rejects any responsibility for defect and would not take care of this issue free of charge); never had any accidents with car,but if air bags will not deploy statement is correct,I am concerned for the safety of anyone driving this car in my household. …”
