“I have a 2007 Suzuki Forenza and the check engine light just came on. I took it to auto zone and they put it on the tester and it came up with a trans range sensor.this is a dealer part and the car only has about 75,000 miles on it. From what I can see online is that alot of people have had this issue. I have replaced 3 of the 4 door handles as well.”
NHTSA complaint #10397422, filed 2011-04, 94,743 miles“I brought a brand new 2007 Suzuki Forenza in 2007 and since then have had problems ever since. In the first week I brought it the timing belt had broke. Soon after the transmission messed up and was told the engine needed to be rebuilt. Thanks to my extended vehicle warranty (not by Suzuki) I was able to get this fixed without paying out of pocket. Now not even two years later I am being told that the front strut mount and struts are going bad and need to be replaced (estimated at $687.00). …”
NHTSA complaint #10508872, filed 2013-04, 85,879 miles“I just had the driver's interior door handle break at the base. I have already had the passenger front replaced under warranty, passenger rear replace at my cost and now this!”
NHTSA complaint #10336849, filed 2010-06, 58,000 miles“Passenger door handles broke at the base of the handle. Son tried to open the back door (behind driver) and the handle broke off in his hand. The front passenger side door handle has a crack in it from the top to the bottom of the handle. I expect it to break any day. Back right passenger lock does not respond to unlock button when it is pushed. All others rise, this one stays down.”
NHTSA complaint #10234951, filed 2008-07, 23,000 miles“Since taking possession of my vehicle (feb. '08)..the dash covers for the radio, clock & shift have always become extremely hot to touch, including the metal part of the ignition key. Whenever the car is driven..other parts of the dash get warm..these listed parts get hotter, this condition is frightening!..sometimes there is an associated electrical type odor! The cd player cannot be used, the cd's get too hot to handle. The dealer has experienced this problem & the manufacturer has also..they both refuse to correct it.”
