Example complaints

Vehicle speed control: “I was riding in the c mode for about 10 mins before turning the motorcycle off for a minute or two. I started the motorcycle and continued my ride. A couple of minutes later I was in a curve going about 15-20 MPH when the motorcycle begin to slide. The rode was free of any objects\fluids that would cause a slide. The slide was caused by the rear tire spinning and loosing grip. I had not increase the throttle when this happened.”

Body and structure: “I have a 2007 Suzuki gsx-r 1000 sportsbike and the frame broke in half at the welds. It is a very clean break at the welds. I have searched online and found many other complaints of the same issue for the same bike. Suzuki does have a recall on the 05/06 gsxr 1000 fro the same problem.”

NHTSA complaint #10297779, filed 2010-01, 9,123 miles

Brakes: “Suzuki will not perform the recall on my brake for the master cylinder. The bike has no front brakes and they will not send me the new parts to do the repair. They are telling I must pay to get it towed to a dealer 2 hrs from my house to get it repaired. If they won't pay for the tow then they need to send me the part so I can complete the repair myself.”
