“2004 Suzuki Verona axle broke away from vehicle while driving on a busy highway. There were not any signs leading up to the event. They state that it was due to a manufactures defect on the ball joint. The event caused my father to have severe anxiety and no longer wants to drive or be driven in the vehicle. Suzuki paid half of the cost and I paid the other half. I called for the part and they say they had thrown it away because Suzuki did not want it. I also had the neutral switch (2005) go out on the car which caused me to go onto an embankment. They fixed at no charge. …”
NHTSA complaint #10186628, filed 2007-03, 67,000 miles“From the moment I purchased my 2004 Suzuki Verona, I've had nothing but problems. Problems include right side pulling (the dealer replaced the tire but it continues to pull. However dealer claims there is no problem, you just don't like the vehicle ). Problems with idling and the car cutting off. Problem with gears not shifting fast enough (mine is an automatic) but it stalls all the time when I am trying to accelerate. I am extremely unhappy with the performance of this automobile. I would never recommend anyone to buy a Suzuki. …”
