“While in Full Self Driving mode in my Tesla, it was making a right turn into a parking lot when it suddenly violently accelerated. Before I could gain control it crossed the parking lot entrance, climbed the curb, and came to rest on a lawn in front of a business. Luckily no one was hurt. It appears the car will be totaled by the insurance company at the completion of their investigation.”
NHTSA complaint #11745645, filed 2026-06“The front triple camera glass was found to be dirty on the interior part of the glass. I had alerts of camera blocked/blinded and also I had several instances of emergency corrective maneuvers including braking, lane assists and forward collision warnings. Tesla cleaned the interior of part of the glass.”
NHTSA complaint #11606909, filed 2024-08“Travelling 101 North from Los Angeles to Solvang. I was driving with tesla auto piloit set at 65mph. Middle of the highway, no vehicles around, no bridges or any shadows from anything. Tesla model y braked from 65mph to 20mph suddenly without warning. Serious safety issue, had a vehicle been following me i would have been rear ended.”

It is such a GREAT SAFETY ADDITION. Tesla does not have it. 2. I have had the car since 4/16/22. I have replaced the windshield x 2 already and this weekend a rock hit the windshield which now needs to be replaced again. 4 windshields in 13 months? Is there a proble m with the windshields?”
