“I am not sure if this is a vehicle or tire issue, but this car is a 2026 Camry nightshade edition, and it is experiencing significant Tramlining due to its combination of wheels and tires. I feel the manufacturer should do something to address this issue.”
NHTSA complaint #11760879, filed 2026-08“I purchased a Toyota camry 2026 on January 5th 2026. After a week of driving the vehicle. I noticed it was sliding around & having a hard time stopping on my way home from work. One night going up a hill. I had to stop at a red light. When it turned green I tried to proceed. The tires just spun out I couldn't go any further. I had to turn around & go a different way. It's was only cold out no snow on the ground yet. A couple days later in the burger King drive thru. I had my son in the car. I was going less than 10mph. The vehicle wouldn't stop at the speaker. …”

This was a serious safety incident that could have resulted in a catastrophic crash, severe injuries, or fatalities. …”

Steering truly is difficult to control, specially on wet conditions. this Vehicle is equipped with factory 19” wheels with wide, low profile tires with low aspect ratio and short sidewalls; Bridgestone turanza tires 235/40/r19. The problem has been confirmed by the dealer saying this is known as tramlining. Vehicle was inspected by manufacturer several times. …”
