Example complaints

Selected from NHTSA records; personal details are removed. They are consumer reports, not findings.

“While driving at a steady speed, the car (which is an automatic) went out of gear and slipped into neutral. As soon as I realized what had happened I jiggled the shifter (it was in d2) and the gear seemed to re-engage and I continued driving without any problem. This has happened a half dozen times.”
