“I have a 2014.5 Toyota Camry routine maintained completed. At 10000 miles air leak occurred tire not repairable tire replaced. 3 weeks ago at 15,000 miles tire had catrophic failure tire blew at 25 or less miles per hour causing 3000.00 damage to car including ABS brake system. If this had happened on freeway I would have been dead. Tire is michelin primise 215517 mxv4 dt000 835 70m I”

While the vehicle was stationary, the tire pressure monitor (tpm) indicator displayed on the instrument panel. The tpm failed to properly balance the tires. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The failure mileage was 51,500. Updated 06/13/17 updated 10/12/2017”

When the vehicle was taken to be serviced, the technician found visible blisters located on the inside walls of the front and rear passenger side tires. The front passenger side tire was replaced. The manufacturer was not notified of the failure. The tire and vehicle failure mileage was 24,983. The DOT number was not available.”
