“On four separate occasions (while car was in motion and in park) my front passenger seat alarm was alerting me to buckle up but I am always the only one in the car/no one is riding in front passenger seat. On that same side (front/right) an air bag panel keeps popping out/will not stay in place and I am very afraid there is a recall on my car and no one is aware of it. Would like to figure out how serious this is. Including a picture as well....please and thanks!”

NHTSA complaint #11019570, filed 2017-08, 70,000 miles

“Transmission shift 1st to 2nd gear is hard, all other shifts are fine. Sometimes the transmission chokes and you get a hard bang in the drivetrain. Also, the driver's seat doesn't lock properly, sometimes I have to slam on the brakes really hard in order to get the seat front-to-rear adjuster to lock or click into place. The seat also squeaks while the car is in motion, and I weigh only 175 lbs. …”

NHTSA complaint #10441804, filed 2011-12, 1,500 miles

“When car hits bumps frame on car makes a noise . Also you can see it give or move. Car has a tough ride to it for a le model. Bottom of seat on car is to short. Brake pedal and accelerator pedal is to far to the right it needs to be alittle more to left also their to close together. Makes seat bottom to the right (needs to be straighter)to match pedals. I think dashboard is to low. The body noises happen more with one person in the car. Also on hot days and very cold days dash has a crack sound to it. The car is quieter on rainy days like a normal car.”

NHTSA complaint #10423812, filed 2011-09, 100 miles

“While driving my car seat seat (driver side) starts to over heat. I do not have heated car seats.but within the past few weeks I have noticed that my car seat started to heat up. At first I thought it was because it has been sitting in the sun all day, but as the driving progressed in the fact this is happened three times I feel that there is a flaw In the interior.”

NHTSA complaint #11538288, filed 2023-08

“My car was recall for the NHTSA no. 16v-340, which means it has bad air bags, I have just found all these other recalls on my vehicle that I never knew, I took my car down to Toyota, they have no idea when they are going to have the airbag inflators so they said I could leave the car there and they would give me a car, my problem is what are they going to do with my vehicle, it might be months before they get the this problem fixed, now I find out that my car has all these other recalls and this is the first letter that I have ever received concerning this car. …”
