“Vehicle horn stopped working. Not sure what caused it to stop working. I have not used it that often, but this recently happen when I was merging onto the highway and another vehicle almost ran right into me and my horn did not work to warn them I was there. This makes me nervous in case something does happen with my child in the car.”

“Takata recal: I have been told a year ago that these airbags will get especially dangerous around september of 2017. We are almost there and my dealer says the replacement airbags are not available. What can I do? I live in a hot humid place where the airbags degrade fast. Would the dealer remove the airbag without putting in the replacement?”

“Takata recall. No notice of recall to me through the mail, most likely because I have moved. Bought car new from Toyota san diego in 2011, model 2011 Toyota Corolla 4-door sedan. No accidents so far, I am filing a complaint because I need the airbag replaced. This is a vehicle that my husband and I drive daily, with our two small children.”

NHTSA complaint #10946751, filed 2017-01, 60,000 miles

“Takata recall. I received a recall notice and took it to my local dealer who advised that they didn't have a fix yet. The recall notice suggested that the passenger seat not have a passenger without mentioning that particles could blow elsewhere through the car. I bought a four door sedan. Toyota should pay the difference in value and all cars like it should be removed from the road.”

“Takata recall my complaint is that it is recommended to not have a passenger in the front seat until a remedy is performed.I bought this car as a 4 passenger car, I cannot place my mother in law in the back seat 3 times a week for transport, and what about the driver side inflater, is that one safe? I do not feel safe in this car now, and cannot use it for the purpose I bought it for”
