“The vehicle intermittently experiences a loss of engine power or significant hesitation when accelerating from a stop or from a slow speed. This has occurred multiple times, including when accelerating from a complete stop and after making a low-speed turn. This creates a safety risk when pulling into traffic, crossing an intersection, turning into traffic, or accelerating from a stop or slow speed because the vehicle does not accelerate as expected, increasing the risk of a collision. We live in a rural areas where we pull onto high speed roads. …”
NHTSA complaint #11762886, filed 2026-09“Engine sporadically loses power or hesitates when accelerating from a stop or slower speed. Have experienced when making a low-speed turn and/or when accelerating from a stop. This has happened on multiple occasions and has been taken to the dealer to investigate. However, they never fix anything because they say they could not replicate and there was no known recall or TSB for the specific vehicle at the time.”
NHTSA complaint #11761949, filed 2026-09“On occasion, the engine will lack power upon accelerating from a stop of slow speed resulting in a delay in power needed to accelerate. This creates a safety risk when accelerating from a stop or slow speed by opening up the risk of a collision when the car doesn't accelerate as needed. The car has been taken to the dealership but they say they cannot reproduce so they return it in the same condition. There are no warning lights that are presented to the driver.”
