“Tire tread is cracking and breaking away in small chunks. The tires are OEM (Toyota Tundra 22') Bridgestone Dueler H/T 265/70R18 model 685 with manufacture date of 1022. I do not feel safe driving on these tires due to tread rubber breaking away even in the middle of the tire. All four tires show cracks but both rear tires are worse of the four. I have had regular service and tire rotation by Toyota dealership but they did not notify me of the issue. The truck has 17K on it and tires have plenty of tread depth. Location of truck is in the southwest and not is used in cold environment.”

The contact stated that while getting the vehicle service and the dealer advised him the vehicle had uneven trade wear on the tires. The vehicle was not diagnosed or repaired. The VIN was not included in NHTSA Campaign Number that is unknown. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. The failure mileage was 19,560.”
