“Hesitation from a stop. Vehicle isn’t following pedal input and at times can put me into a side collision. Lane keep assist is dangerous and throws me off the road constantly. At times the lane assist will fight my input at the wheel and pull me off-road and over the lines.”

NHTSA complaint #11635768, filed 2025-01

“I have been getting my Tundra alignment done every other month since I purchased it brand new and have actually run out of warranty on the alignments and have been coming out of pocket ever since. The vehicle pulls quite aggressively to the right unless extra pressure is applied to the left side of the steering wheel. It has steadily gotten worse after every alignment and I can’t even pull an empty trailer with a truck that has the towing package. …”

NHTSA complaint #11559005, filed 2023-12

“Forward facing Camera's: After vehicle was recalled for a refacing camera issue and repaired for that recall, now the forward facing camera does not work properly. When coming to stop or while stopped the forward facing camera's no longer work. They only come on when I get close to something. They also no longer read speed limit signs. When stopped at a cross walk if a child runs in front of the vehicle I do not get a warning until the child is directly in front of the vehicle. This could cause me to hit a child based on the height of the child and being blocked by the hood of the vehicle. …”

NHTSA complaint #11750619, filed 2026-07

“The contact owns a 2023 Toyota Tundra. The contact stated that while driving at various speeds, the navigation screen would shut off and then it would restart with no information. The contact would have to stop driving and reenter the information. The vehicle was taken to the dealer and the contact was informed that he needed to show proof of the failure for the issue to be repaired. The driver-side seat functions failed to operate as well as the lane departure warning system was inoperable. The vehicle was not repaired and the failures continued to occur. …”

NHTSA complaint #11578975, filed 2024-03, 7,000 miles

“Vibration at lower speeds felt in steering, pedals, driver seat and front passenger seat. Posses danger to operator and other traffic as this vibration could be mistaken for departure warning. Notified Toyota cooperation but they seem eager to close the case.”
