“My brakes failed at a low speed at a mcdonalds and I hit a car in front of me. My son and grandaugher were in the car with me. I couldn't get the car to stop no matter how much I pushed on the brakes. My wife called toyato but was told to drive the car to a dealership. We are afraid to drive the car it would seem to be dangerous to do so.this is are only car. Doesn't seem to be any urgency on toyatos part. Any help to resolve this situation before some has to die.”

The contact rushed to the car to depress the service brake pedal however, the driver's side wheel ran over the contact's left foot. The contact was taken to a nearby hospital where it was determined that the contact sustained soft tissue injuries. The vehicle was taken to the dealer. The technician stated that was the result of too much pressure on the service brakes. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. …”
