2013: “Error message: check srs airbag system light came on. I was driving on a highway at about 50 MPH. Took car to my mechanic who hooked it to the computer diagnostic machine. He said this was the 2nd time the light came on (first time for me since august 2014) per the diagnostic machine history. Took to dealership 1/23/2021”

2011: “I have posted the most recent incident because this has happened multiple times since the time I purchased this car used in 2017. Something is causing the power to drain from the battery I have replaced the battery 3 times since 2017 I was told that I wasn't driving the car enough to keep it charged if I left it sit for 3 days without starting it.”

NHTSA complaint #11277290, filed 2019-10, 85,000 miles

2009: “Heated seat temperature controller (#875010t010) fails resulting in heated seat failure. In our case, the controller failed melting the wire harness plug to the controller. This could have started the seat on fire with our 17 year old daughter driving the vehicle. Toyota has discontinued this part for 2009-2014 Venza's and has not offered a replacement.”
