“While trying to start the engine (parked) on cold weather (aprox. 20f), steering column lock asserts and engine shuts down. It happens almost every time, if outside temperature is below about 35f. I have to try several times with slight pressure on steering wheel, before steering gets unlocked.”

Said it was dangerous to drive. No accident has happened as your letter advised that it is too dangerous to drive it in this condition. This is costing me a lot of money and I want something done immediately!!!!!!!! It has been months since I was notified and this car is very important to our daily lives. No information has come to us regarding this air bag issue. …”

“The contact owns a 2009 Volkswagen CC. Immediately after refueling and starting the vehicle, the steering wheel began to vibrate violently. In addition, while driving at a low speed, the vehicle stalled. The contact was able to restart the vehicle; however, the steering wheel became difficult to turn. The contact had to apply force to the steering wheel in order to steer the vehicle and the power steering warning light illuminated. The vehicle was taken to a dealer who diagnosed the vehicle and stated that the failure corrected itself. The manufacturer was notified of the failure. …”
