“After NHTSA 919A been applied for my VW ID4, NHTSA Recall ID Number 24V875 was not properly addressed. 1 week after the recall completed by Centenial VW, I still have computer crash and blackout in the main dash and infotainment systems. I've shown these photos to David Lucero at Centenial VW service and he claims it was done properly. Attached is the photos.”
NHTSA complaint #11643767, filed 2025-02“I was backing my 2023 Volkswagen ID.4 into my very tight driveway very slowly to avoid hitting my other car parked on the street, my house and my neighbors house. The parking collision sensor alerted me that I was close to my other car but I can see out my window that I had room to clear it safely so I continued to back into my driveway at about 1 mile an hour. …”
NHTSA complaint #11630752, filed 2024-12“I was driving with Travel Assis on, the car steered left into the center divider then swerved right into other lanes… I was unable to regain control of steering wheel or break to deactivate travel assist for about 10 seconds, the steering wheel felt stuck in the direction that Travel Assist was steering to.”
NHTSA complaint #11642645, filed 2025-02“While driving the vehicles safety features automatically turn off and the screens in the car go blank and then come back on after a few minutes. When we contacted the dealer and the manufacturer we were told there was no fix and to just pull over and restart the car. The dealer told us to treat it like a cell phone that isn’t working and just turn it off and turn it back on.”
NHTSA complaint #11630765, filed 2024-12“I was halfway into a parking stall. There was a cement sign post at the end of the stall and a truck facing me opposite. About six feet from the post the car accelerated and glanced off the post and hit the truck slightly. It happened very fast but I am 99% sure the car accelerated on its own. We did a search afterwards and found many reports of our model doing similar things.”
