“Abnormal inside tire wear leading to blow outs and flats. TSB 42M6 available for alignment, adjustment bolts and camber adjustments but it was not sent to my car and I've had to replace 2 sets of rear tires due to uneven wear. Mileage currently is at 35k. Dealer states no issues with suspension or alignment but can't explain the uneven wear. First time was in October 2024 and then this time February 2026. Car was newly driven January 2023. Dealer is asking me to pay each time for new tires. …”
NHTSA complaint #11717166, filed 2026-02“Failure to stop, auto continued forward. I veered right to avoid heading collision with a tree. I veered right but was unable to prevent colliding with the tree, scraping the bark. The vehicle then spontaneously accelerated and I had to slam my foot on the brake to make it stop. This caused $8900 of damage to the body of the vehicle. The repairman at the collision shop expressed concerns with the brakes, and recommended the car be taken to the dealer to have the brakes checked..This EV has been reported as having this issue since 2021, for models 2021-2024; VW fails to install a safety recall. …”
