“My vehicle is an XC60. The headlights fogged up and the fog caused issues with driving in the dark. It took four days for the fog to resolve itself. During that time, at night, you could see the fogged areas in the beam. I took the car to a Volvo dealership and they were not able to replicate the issue, likely because it is not as hot now as it was when this occurred. They told me to open a case with Volvo USA. I sent them photographs. They then responded that there was no evidence of condensation, but condensation was normal and would clear up as it did in this case. …”
NHTSA complaint #11626586, filed 2024-11“Volvo rushed the 2022 model year XC60 with the new Google infotainment to market before all the bugs were worked out. While driving after 4 weeks of ownership, the HVAC was not working so unable to defog the windshield, the turn signal lights were not working, maps and speed limit alerts not working. Had to manually reboot the infotainment to regain these necessary safety features. There are numerous internet forums describing issues with the new Google based infotainment that Volvo is using and the slow response to address them. Even the dealer is aware of these reported issues.”
