2020: “The bunk ladder was stored during transit in the provided mounting clips by the entrance door and came crashing down during normal driving conditions. We contacted Winnebago and their suggestion was to place the ladder on the floor during transit. If we did this we'd have a 9 pound projecticle flying through the coach if we were in an accident or had to stop suddenly. Having a loose ladder sliding around is not an adeqate safety solution.”

NHTSA complaint #11324698, filed 2020-05, 3,000 miles

2006: “Pegasus advanta clt tire blew out while driving. Inspection showed casing failure on outside edge of sidewall. Further inspection revealed incomplete DOT number - no manufacture date. Last 4 digits were blank (empty circles). The drop down tire list did not list pegasus so I picked api since they were the pegasus manufacturer. This complaint does not apply to the gladiator - I could not proceed without making a selection.”

NHTSA complaint #10660335, filed 2014-11, 25,500 miles

2018: “Three of the original wheels in my 2017 mercedes sprinter based 2018 Winnebago motorhome have failed due to air leaking from near the welded portion of the steel rims. Two of these wheels have been replaced, one by mercedes and one by Winnebago. See documentation. On 07-17-18, tire pressure in the inner rear wheel, driver side was 30 PSI. Filled the tire and drove 120 miles home. (3191 miles) on 07-18-18 I took the rv to les schwab tire center in hamilton, mt. After submerging the wheel, they determined that the air was leaking from the welded joint in the wheel. …”
