“Takata recall - I have had two separate major issues with this vehicle since I purchased it in may 2018. Over a month ago , my car started to make a loud squealing noise while idled at stop light and would ease up when I would accelerate. My engine was shaking so badly that I could feel it with my foot on brake petal. My roommate heard the squealing noise from inside my house and came out to see what was wrong. Entire engine was shaking as if something was not on properly. Happened one other time since while coming back from work. …”

NHTSA complaint #10851727, filed 2016-03, 70,000 miles

“I tried starting my car and it would not start. Figured it was a dead battery so I bought a new one and had it replaced. The car worked fine for about 3 days then had the same problem as before. I contacted the dealer, had to have the car towed to them, and was told that it was the connections from the battery to the engine that were loose and causing the car to not start. I picked up my car the next day after paying $120 to have the problem (wiggling some wires) fixed. 2 days later...same problem. …”
