“I discovered fluid leaking under the vehicle and a banging, loud noise was present when shifting to 1st gear. The vehicle was taken to the mechanic where it was diagnosed that the rear differential gasket was ruptured. I called the gmc dealer in costa mesa, ca and I was informed that the vehicle was not included in NHTSA campaign number: 07v589000 (power train), even if the vehicle experienced the same failure listed in the recall. The failure mileage was 65-70,000m. …”

“Without any notice or lights or anything, my 2007 Cadillac SRX will loose power and decelerate from 60 to 0 in just a few seconds. I can have the gas pedal to the floor and the car does not move, even though the motor is still running. It is as if the car is in neutral. Once you turn the car off and on again, it will run fine for a few days or a week or so before happening again. This has happened 4 or 5 times and the dealer says without being able to reproduce the problem there is nothing they can do. One time I was on a major highway and could not get out of the road. …”
