“I was driving on the highway at 55 MPH, when a loud pop noise from the rear happened. My vehicle spinned out of control several times in a circle before hitting a median barrier. I had the problem fixed in march 2014... The same problem happened again on 4/7/2014, except I didn't hit a median.”

NHTSA complaint #10578062, filed 2014-04, 100,005 miles

“My husband purchased my vehicle in october, 2006. Within 2 months it was returned to the service department of the dealer. The chrome handle had started peeling on the driver side, the rear window seal was leaking whenever it would rain and the check engine light was on. The leak was repaired, I was told that the engine light was on because we took the factory wheels off and they would call us when the handle came in. That never happened. Toward the middle of 2008 the following messages started showing up. …”

NHTSA complaint #10259982, filed 2009-02, 21,000 miles

“Frame rusted through on both left and right sides. Service manager made comment that frame rusted through from the inside of frame rail. Cadillac will not take any responsibility for repairs. Also includes rusting of fuel lines next to frame.”

NHTSA complaint #10747478, filed 2015-08, 98,000 miles

“The contact owns a 2007 Cadillac SRX. On each side of the vehicle, there were air distribution units. Each unit, outlined in a silver component, produced a glare and reflection that affected visibility in the rearview mirror. In addition, the glare impacted the contact's vision while looking through the rearview and front mirrors. The dealer and manufacturer were notified, but did not provide a repair solution. The approximate failure mileage was 54,600.”
