“I have a 2020 cadillac xt4. When I first purchased the car in 2021, it already needed a new battery. Since owning the vehicle, I've had to change the battery two times already with 3 years. When I go to start the car (push start) sometimes the car wouldn't turn over or turn on and my dash board would illuminate stating service stabilitrak. Sometimes it would take like 5-8 tries before the car turned on. …”
NHTSA complaint #11629375, filed 2024-12“A problem with something internal causing the hazard lights to come on when the car is not turned on. Repeated attempts to turn the hazard lights off don't work. They stay on and do not stop until the battery was totally dead. I don't know which systems are affected or trigger the hazard lights to come on. Aaa was summoned for battery service. Battery was replaced but the issue was not fixed.”
NHTSA complaint #11768739, filed 2026-10“RECALL for repair of Back UP Camera because it intermittently stops working. XT4 has been taken in TWICE for this recall January and February of 2023. The camera continues to intermittently stop working. This problem needs to be resolved in order for vehicle to operate safely.”
