This was fixed in 2022 on my car per the recall. everything worked great until it started happening again 12/2024 and they replaced the module now at an expense to me. it seemed to work for about 1 month and Now its 3/2025 and i continue to have this issue intermittently keep happening and they can't seem to find the problem. It happened in January, Feb, and March of this year. …”

The contact stated that while driving at an undisclosed speed on the highway, the Forward Collision Avoidance feature indicated that there were pedestrians ahead on the road, but there were no pedestrians on the road. The contact stated that later, while pedestrians were present, the Forward Collision Avoidance feature failed to operate as designed. The vehicle was taken to the dealer; however, the dealer was unable to duplicate the failure. The vehicle was not repaired. The manufacturer was made aware of the failure. …”
